1. I won the costume contest.
I wasn't aiming to win the contest. I just needed a costume at the last minute for a medieval-themed event and this one was cheap and came in my size. But I got so many compliments, and won the prize for best costume. It's a comfortable dress. It runs a little small -- I'm a size 2 and I'm glad I got the 6-8. Anything smaller would have been too small. The headpiece is also on the small side -- I wore it around my head like a crown and it was pretty tight.
