1. Conflicting ideal
The Costume itself is very pretty. it's comfortable and details are fairly true to the picture. The bust portion of the costume however is ill-fitting. the straps are behind the shells not on them so there is nothing holding the shell up and a female bust can easily fall out, even if the fitting guidelines are followed. Very pretty costume and I really wish it fit better on the top bust/sea shell area. I bought the item but because it did not fit well at all on top I did not feel comfortable wearing it so i returned it for a refund. Overall was very pleased with the look of the costume outside of the ill-fitting sea shell top.
2. It was so Hot!
I had to perform as a mermaid in a community performance with several other adults and my costume was a show stopper. I had other women come up to me and tell me I looked so "HOT". At my age I can't remember the last time someone, including my husband, has said that. I am so glad I purchased from your company. The event raised over $10,000. for our local Chamber of Commerce scholership fund. It was worth every penny I paid and would go to you in a heart beat again if I needed a specialty item. I looked and felt amazing. Thank you for such a superior peoduct! The others in our act also wore costumes from your company. We were one of the hits of the show. WOW what a night. I took a big chance to show my stuff and I felt beautiful and everyone said I looked beautiful.

Excellent Quality and Detail
Purchased this costumue for Halloween this year. It is nicer than I expected. The colours are very vibrant. The 'blue' colour is more of a dark teal colour and the 'bottom' tulle is a rich teal colour as well, no turoquoise as seen in the picture. The side straps on the halter top do not offer much support however. The straps will have to be altered for me or perhaps sew in a strapless bra. The costume is very easy to walk in. The head band style decoration - sparkly star does not lay flat on the head (read this in another review) so needs to be taken apart and reglued ( easy fix)! Also, I was worried as I read in another review that the back of the costume was solid black or blue. - not true! The back is as vibrant as the front! All around a perfect costume!
